The good: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 adds GPS capabilities to the already impressive and sleek messaging smartphone.

The bottom line: The RIM BlackBerry Curve for T-Mobile is the best BlackBerry we’ve seen to date as it offers Wi-Fi, best-of-breed design, and excellent performance.

The bottom line: Still offering an attractive design and excellent messaging capabilities, the addition of GPS makes the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 an even more attractive choice for road warriors.

The smartphone also features a nice, sleek design; a spacious QWERTY keyboard; a 2-megapixel camera; popular IM clients; and good call quality.

It can capture images in up to three picture quality and size resolutions that can be shared instantly by email, MMS or BlackBerry Messenger, or even uploaded to your Flickr account with the Yahoo! Go service.

It has a microSD expandable memory slot to store music, videos and more.

CALL/SOUND QUALITY/SPEAKERPHONE: All awesome, reception is great, call volume is nice and loud and speakerphone is the best I’ve experienced from a cell phone yet.

The Web browser isn’t the sleekest, and the camera lacks video-recording capabilities.

Snap crisp photos on the 2 MP camera with 5x zoom and flash.

The Curve offers solid performance, a great design, excellent messaging features, and the addition of Wi-Fi is icing on the cake.

Other wireless radios on the Curve 8310 include Bluetooth and EDGE.

The Curve also works with T-Mobile’s HotSpot@Home, which lets you make and receive calls using both regular GSM cellular networks and preconfigured wireless networks.

You can use your 8310 Curve to Push-to-Talk to communicate with individual colleagues or friends, or set up groups for broader communication.
